Project Overview

This project will improve the safety and longevity of I-70 by improving interchange ramps at Route 519/Eighty Four, Dunningsville, and Kammerer in Somerset and South Strabane Townships. Planned work through 2027 includes:

  • Milling and paving along I-70
  • Milling and paving at the Route 519/Eighty Four, Dunningsville, and Kammerer interchanges
  • Base repairs
  • Drainage upgrades
  • Shoulder replacements
  • Slope repairs
  • Signage replacements
  • Guiderail upgrades
  • Delineation upgrades
  • Jacking of the bridge over Route 519
